How To Accept Changes In Life...

Writer's picture: mymindfulnesslivingmymindfulnessliving

Change is the only constant thing in our lives.

Sometimes it happens knowingly and sometimes it happens unknowingly. We can’t avoid most of the changes.

We can accept changes either as a good change or bad change. If it is a good change, we don’t give an effort to adopt to it.

Bu.......t....

What if it is a bad change...?

We have two options.

We can adopt-to it hardly or we can ignore it and move on.

Let’s see how to adopt changes even though it is hard to accept in the first place

Change our attitude

As a first step, we should look into the changes in a positive way. It is up to our mind. If we need to adopt to the changes, we must find pros in and solutions for cons. In that way it is much easier to accept the changes into our lives.

Identify the fear towards change

In this process we will identify that what makes us afraid towards change...

The answer is self-limiting beliefs. We all have self-limiting beliefs more or less and they make a comfortable bubble around us. Those beliefs make us afraid to accept changes which is go beyond our comfort zone.

We must overcome our fear by replacing self-limiting beliefs to positive beliefs.

Have a purpose for life

When we have a life purpose, we know the path to our success. If we have life goals our mind automatically tends to adopt to changes. If we don’t know the purpose of our life we always tend to stay in our comfort zone. Life purpose and life goals give courage to come out from the comfort zone and accept the changes.

Move on from regrets

Sometimes past mistakes in our lives give regrets and these regrets make us reluctant to accept some changes in our lives. If we look deeper those regrettable circumstances, we will realise that those regrets are not an actual regret but life lessons. So, each regret teaches us a lesson and our duty is take those lessons and move on our lives by letting the regrets go.

Be curious

We already know that our life is full of changes. We don’t know what will happen next. If we are curious-about the next chapter of our life, eventually we will start to see the life is full of challenges. We will replace the word changes in to challenges and it make our life more excited and alive...
