Holistic medicine or holism is one of the most discussed topics in nowadays.
Modern medicine focus mainly on the physical part of the body where it’s wounded. However, in holistic medicine, people get treated for the whole body considering mental, physical, spiritual and emotional aspects. In simple terms, holistic medicine is kind of an approach of life that maintains the balance of life.
Therefore, it is valuable to have an idea of how to maintain our wellbeing with this holistic strategy.
Lets see how....
With our daily chaos and busy lifestyles, we have neglected the connection among our body, mind, emotions and our spirit. That’s why we tend to experience various mental and physical diseases. The most common symptom is feeling stressed no matter what you do.
Let’s say we find some time to do exercise daily and yet, we are not happy with our wellbeing.
Sound’s familiar?
Do you wonder why?
I’ll tell you the reason why you feel like your life is unbalanced. If you only focus on your body and neglect the rest, which are mental, emotional and spiritual aspects, no wonder that you feel unhappy and weak.
The only way to overcome this unsatisfied feeling is, rebalancing your life. It is not complicated at all if you follow these simple tips.
First of all, you need to manage some time for your self-care and create a new wellbeing plan.
Creating a daily routine is one of the best ways. You can divide the day into three parts and create 3 separate routines as morning, mid-day and night.
Add anything which comforts you for each routine and make them exciting.

The whole point of this new plan is to balance the four aspects of your life. Therefore the things you are doing in your routines should benefit your mental health, physical health, emotional aspect and your spirituality.
As an example;
Physical Health – engage in regular exercise, have a balanced diet, maintain hygiene
Mental Health – practices meditation for few minutes a day, listen to a calming music, practice journaling
Emotional Health - spend some quality time with your loved ones, go for a walk and enjoy nature
